Firefox Won't Let Me Sign in to MSN Mail
Sometimes a small conflict can occur between a website and your browser. Firefox and MSN mail (also known as Windows Live and Hotmail) work well together, but you might have had a small hiccup. While it is frustrating that Firefox won't let you sign into MSN mail, you can overcome the problem. A couple of setting changes and you will be back in your MSN mail on your Firefox browser in no time.

1
Open Firefox to a non-MSN site. If your homepage is typically your MSN mail, simply choose another site before continuing.
-
2
Check that you are using Firefox version 3.0 or greater. The new Windows Live setup for your MSN mail will not work on older versions of Firefox. You can find your version in the "Help" menu by clicking on the "About Mozilla Firefox" selection at the bottom. If you are using a 2.X version, you need to upgrade before you will be able to connect to MSN mail using Firefox.

3
Erase everything in the address bar at the top of the browser so that it is completely blank. Type "login.live.com" (without the quotes) in the empty address bar and hit the "Enter" key.
-
4
Replace this login page as your bookmark for your MSN mail account. Delete any other bookmarks you might have for your MSN mail and use this site to access your email.
