How to Set Avast! to Accept Attachments in My Email
Avast! is an anti-virus program that can provide identity protection online, protection against malicious software and email spam protection. Avast! offers a free version of its anti-virus as well as two paid anti-virus programs, which are more customizable and offer greater security options. The email protection in Avast! can sometimes prevent you from opening or saving email attachments, but it only takes a few minutes to set Avast! to accept attachments in your email.

Tips & Warnings
Always save email attachments to your computer and run a virus scan on them before opening.
Always be careful when running with email protection disabled as it does leave your computer more susceptible to viruses. Never open email attachments directly from your email, even if you know the sender. Your friends and family could have forwarded you a virus through email without realizing it.
