How to Put a Pinyin Tonemark in PowerPoint
Pinyin is the method of writing Chinese words using standard Roman letters, while tone marks indicate which tones should be applied to each vowel sound. Pinyin tone marks are essential to understanding the written language, as Mandarin Chinese has four tones, each of which give a different meaning to the same syllable. Adding Pinyin tone marks in PowerPoint requires that you have installed one of the Chinese language keyboards.
