It's easy to remove an antenna from a 1996 Nissan.

Instructions

3. Begin turning the antenna in a counter-clockwise direction until it becomes loose. The initial turn can be difficult, depending on how much dirt has become lodged in the antenna's holder.

4. Continue turning the antenna until it's completely detached. Store it in a safe location until it's time to reattach the antenna.
