How to Pair an iPhone 3G & a DRC-BT15

The Sony Bluetooth receiver, DRC-BT15, can be paired with any cell phone that has Bluetooth, including your 3G iPhone. The receiver makes it possible for you to listen to music and podcasts on your iPhone without connecting the headset to the iPhone. You connect the headset to the receiver so you can keep your iPhone on the desk, in the purse, or somewhere else comfortable so you do not have to worry about it being attached to your headset.

Instructions

1. Press and hold the "Power" button on the Sony receiver for at least 7 seconds.

2. Select "Settings" on your iPhone, and then open "General" and "Bluetooth."

3. Slide the Bluetooth setting to "On."

4. Choose "DRC-BT15" from the list of in-range devices.

5. Enter the passkey for the receiver, which is "0000," to finish pairing the device to the iPhone.
