How to Add TTF Fonts
Although Windows 7 ships with more standard fonts than previous versions of the operating system, there are still many situations where you will need to download the True Type Font that is just right for your document or presentation. Microsoft has always made it relatively easy to install new fonts in Windows, but Windows 7 makes installing new True Type Fonts as easy as a couple of mouse clicks.

Browse to a website that has a True Type Font you want to add to your computer. Download and save the font file to your computer.

Click "Computer" on the desktop or on the Start menu. Browse to the folder that contains the True Type Font you want to install.

Right-click on the True Type Font file and click "Install" on the pop-up menu. Windows installs the font and adds it to the system.

Tips & Warnings
Another method of installing fonts in Windows 7 is to simply drag-and-drop the font file onto the "Fonts" link in Control Panel.
