How to Make Mouth-Watering Chicken, Mushrooms and Rice in the Crock Pot
Crock pot meals are the simplest and best tasting to make. Your family will love this easy, delicious meal. It takes very little preparation and will feed a large family with leftovers for later. Things You'll Need
- 5 lbs. chicken breasts
- 18 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz. can mushrooms
- Rice
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- 6 quart crock pot

Clean your chicken breasts. Remove any fat or bone fragments. Cut the breasts in half. Season to taste and set aside.

Turn the crock pot on high to begin heating. Put in your butter or margarine to melt.

Add in the 18 oz. can of cream of mushroom soup and the 8 oz. can of mushrooms. Add two 18 oz. cans of water to this mixture. Salt and pepper to taste.

Add the chicken breasts to your soupy mixture. Mix and stir well. Add water if needed to cover all the chicken.

Cook for at least four hours on high. When chicken is tender, add in the rice. Add more water if needed. Allow to cook until rice is tender.

Turn the crock pot on low or warm to prevent rice from overcooking.
