How to Place Logos in Quickbooks thumbnail
Brand your company with logos in QuickBooks.

Make your documents stand out from other QuickBooks users by adding your company's logo to the templates. By placing logos in each of the templates, you will maintain consistent brand recognition within all of the forms in QuickBooks. Along with brand recognition, logos in QuickBooks will provide additional exposure for your company.

Instructions

    • 1

Open QuickBooks by double-clicking on the desktop icon. If you do not have an icon on the desktop, click on the "Start" button, hover the mouse to "Programs" and then hover to "QuickBooks." Select the QuickBooks version program name.

    • 2

Click on the "Lists" menu and select "Templates."

    • 3

Double-click the template in which you would like to add a logo.

    • 4

Click on the "Company" tab in the "Customize" window and select the "Use Logo" checkbox. Click on the "Specify" button if the "Select Image" window does not automatically open.

    • 5

Locate the image file of the logo you want to use. Double-click to select the logo (or select the logo file and click the "Open" button).

    • 6

Click the "OK" button on the warning window. The warning simply notifies you that QuickBooks will make a copy of the image file and place it into the QuickBooks image folder.

    • 7

Click the "OK" button in the top right corner of the "Customize" window to save the changes and close the window.

    • 8

Repeat steps 2 through 7 for each of the templates in which you want to add a logo.

Tips & Warnings

  • Depending on the template format and the size and shape of your logo, you may want to click on the "Layout Designer" button within the "Customize" window. In the "Layout Designer" window, simply click and drag to move the logo to an available position. If the return address is behind the logo, for example, you may click and drag the address text box to keep the logo to the left of the return address.
