How to Rotate Your Desktop in Linux

Rotating the direction of your desktop in the Linux operating system involves changing your screen rotation. By default, the image that is displayed on your monitor will be longer than it is wide. To change the rotation, you can choose to use a mirror image or make the image on your monitor taller than it is wide. Using the Linux's "System" menu available from the desktop to change the screen rotation.

Instructions

1. Click "System."

2. Click "Preferences."

3. Click "Screen Resolution."

4. Click the box labeled "Rotation." Select the new rotation settings you would like to use for your Linux computer.

5. Click "Apply" to save the Linux desktop configuration changes.
