How to Download Music Easily
Music is quickly moving away from portable compact discs to MP3 audio files. This allows you to directly upload the music to a MP3 player, in addition to listening to the content on your computer system. Although you do need to purchase most of this music, the entire purchase and download process is rather straightforward and takes only a few moments to complete.

Open your Internet browser and navigate to the music download site from which you want to download MP3 tracks (such as Napster, Rhapsody or the music program iTunes). Note that iTunes requires you to download the actual program, before downloading music (the software is available free at iTunes.com).

Select the sign up option. Fill out a desired username (often just your email address), select your password and submit your payment information. For some services, you are required to select a specific service. This gives you a specific amount of downloads per month.

Choose the song or album you want to download. Click the "Download" option. A prompt appears (or the Web page changes) asking if you are sure you want to download the track.

Select "Yes" and the music file downloads to your computer. Your input payment information is now billed.
