How to Zoom in on Media Player
View enhanced detail and experience videos and movies in unique new ways by zooming in on the action. The zoom effect, common in image editing programs such as Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. Windows Media Player, installed on all Windows operating systems, also comes with basic zoom-in and zoom-out features accessible during playback. By zooming in on interesting details or zooming out to minimize the viewing area, you can customize the video experience to suit your preferences.

Open Windows Media Player. Click "Library" and select "Video" to a list of video files in your media library.

Double-click a video file. Windows Media Player will play it.

Press "ALT+1" to zoom the video by 50 percent. Press "ALT+2" to zoom it by 100 percent. Press "ALT+3" to zoom it by 200 percent.

Press "ALT+ENTER" to zoom the video to full-screen.

Tips & Warnings
Press "ESC" to exit full-screen mode and return the video to normal size. Use the zoom feature to take snapshots of interesting enlarged scenes by pressing the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard. Open a WordPad document and press "CTRL+V" to paste the captured image.
