How to Add Songs to Microsoft PowerPoint
Adding songs to Microsoft PowerPoint is one way you can customize your PowerPoint presentation. Once the songs are embedded in your Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, you can make them play automatically when a slide appears or control the playback manually. You can add sounds to your Microsoft PowerPoint presentation and control these playback preferences through a series of simple steps.

Open Microsoft PowerPoint.

Click "File," "Open" and select the Microsoft PowerPoint presentation that you want to add a song to.

Scroll to the presentation slide that you want to add a song to.

Click "Insert," select "Movies and Sounds" and choose "Sound from File."

Search through the files on your computer and select the song you would like to add to your Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. After doing so, PowerPoint will ask if you'd like the song to play back automatically.

Click "Yes" to play back the song automatically each time you view this slide. Click "No" to manually control the playback of the song while you are on this slide. To manually control the playback of the song, simply click on the speaker icon while on the slide to start the song playback.
