How to Download Skype in English

Skype allows you to talk to people around the world.

Skype is an online messenger program that is more than just instant messaging. Chat, video and voice calls, file sharing, and even calling phones to and receiving phone calls from around the world--for a fee--are the highlights of Skype's features. To use this program yourself in English, follow the usual download instructions, but choose that you want English as the program's language.

Instructions

1. Visit the Skype website. Click on the type of operating system you have on your computer on the right side of the homepage. You can also download Skype in English to your mobile phone. Click the "Download" button.

2. Follow the prompts to download Skype that appear on your computer screen. You will see an option to let the program download.

3. Click "Run." You may have to allow pop-ups temporarily on your computer for the Skype download to continue. Select English as the language in drop-down menu in the middle of the welcome screen. English will probably be the default language in the drop-down box.

4. Click "I agree-install" at the bottom of the welcome screen to continue downloading Skype in English. Follow the rest of the prompts to complete the download.
