Copy your favorite CD content to a Zune player.

At one time, traveling around with a case full of CDs was common practice. But with the popularity of MP3 and portable media players such as the Zune, CDs are becoming less popular. Rather than throw out your entire CD collection and be forced to repurchase all your favorite songs from an MP3 retailer, you can just copy your discs with the Zune software and download the copied files to the Zune player.

Connect the Zune portable player to the computer by inserting the USB cable into both the player and the computer's USB port. The Zune software will detect the device and the "Player" icon will appear in the bottom left of the interface.
