How to Send Musical Cards

Send a musical card online to a loved one or friend

Many people enjoy sending and receiving musical cards online. An online musical card, or ecard, is sent electronically through a greeting card website. Whether it's a special occasion or just to let someone know you are thinking about him, sending a musical card is fast and easy to do. In just a matter of minutes, you can send an ecard to someone in another part of the world.

• Personal email address
• Recipient's email address
• Speakers connected to your computer

Instructions

1. Find a greeting card website. There are a variety of online greeting card sites to choose from, such as 123 Greetings, American Greetings, Hallmark and Blue Mountain. All of these sites offer a wide variety of musical cards for practically every occasion.

2. Search for a card by choosing an appropriate category, such as birthday, holiday, love, friendship, family, congratulations, thank you, inspirational or anniversary. Take your time and look through all of the cards before you make a decision. Musical cards come in different colors, styles and themes, so choose a card that is right for the occasion. As soon as you find the right one, click on the thumbnail of the ecard to view the full version.

3. Choose a song for your card. Some ecards are created with music, while other cards allow you to add a song of your choice. If the card already has music, turn up your speakers to hear the song. To add a song to your card, browse through the available music and select a song that is a good match for the card.

4. Include a special message on the card. You can write your personal message to the recipient. Think carefully about what you want to say to that person and include a brief note.

5. Complete the online form with the required information. Provide your name and email address, along with the recipient's name and email address. Designate a date you want the card delivered to that person. You can request that the company notifies you (via email) when the recipient views and listens to the musical card.

6. Click the "Preview" button before you send the card to the recipient. If you want to change something on your ecard, do so at this time. When you are finished previewing the musical card, click the button that says "Send this ecard." Your musical card will be sent to the recipient on the date you designated on the form.
