Update the software running on your computer system.

Adobe Dreamweaver 8 is a website design software from the same company that produces Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. Although Dreamweaver 8 still functions adequately, you may want to upgrade the software to a later version, such as CS3 (Creative Suite 3). Because the two products are not consecutive releases, you do need the full version of Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 in order to update the software on your computer.

Insert the Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 installation CD into the disc drive of the computer. Wait a moment and the Adobe installation wizard loads onto the screen.

    • 2

Accept the license agreement on the screen, then click "Next." This brings up the activation code prompt. The code is printed on the software installation CD case. Type the exact code in, then click "Next" to continue.
