How do I Scan Stock Market Picks on YouTube?
One overlooked source for finding some great stock market information is YouTube. This exciting site offers thousands of videos from accredited stock market experts and gurus who are eager to share their market knowledge with the public. In addition, stock investors can find all sorts of pertinent information such as earning reports, federal government announcements, company mergers and takeovers, along with the picking of individual stocks within specific stock strategies. It is highly recommended that YouTube become an addition to the toolbox of every serious stock market investor.

Using YouTube For Stock Market Picks
-
1
Log in to your YouTube account. Perform a stock pick search that specifies the current year so the search results are more targeted. For instance, if the current year is 2010, then enter "stock market picks 2010" into the search box.
Observe the search results and examine several of the stock picking videos that appear most relevant. For those videos that show the most promise, use the pull down bar above the video to examine all the videos that have been submitted by that particular user. You need to ensure the user submits videos on a regular basis. If this checks out, then subscribe to that account's channel by hitting the "subscribe" button above the video box. Repeat this for several stock market picking experts. See Resource 1 for an example channel.

2
View any new videos that have been added to the channel to which you have subscribed on a daily basis. Over time, your view of the stock market will become more refined. For instance, if you prefer investing in momentum stocks, then you can perform a search entitled "momentum stock picks 2010" and subscribe to any channels that appeal to this trading style. For traders who prefer fundamental analysis over technical analysis, they could use "fundamental analysis stock picks 2010" and subscribe to those channels.

Increase your trading skills and knowledge by seeking out Youtube stock training videos. As you view more stock market videos, you will find many that are educational. These videos will provide instruction about how to read stock charts, find winning chart patterns, how to read a company's financial statments and so forth. It is a great idea to either subscribe to these channels or save specific videos in your "favorites" file. If the favorites file is full, it is recommended you set up some playlists to organize the training videos for quick retrieval. See Resource 2 for an example training channel.

Tips & Warnings
Investors should find a reliable YouTube channel that provides a general overview of the stock markets. This source should regularly provide overall market news events such as scheduled earnings reports, federal reserve news and anything that affects the overall market.
