How to Forward Phone Text Messages to Another Phone

You can forward a text message easily and quickly.

If you receive a text message that you want to pass on to someone else, you can simply forward that message to the other person's cell phone. This saves you the time and effort of creating a new message that relays the content of the text that you received. Although there are many different types of cell phones, forwarding a text message is a basic function that is performed in basically the same way from phone to phone.

Instructions

1. Use the select button on your cell phone to open the text message. The select button is usually a round, larger key in the top center of the phone.

2. Press the button that corresponds with the "options" function. This button will probably be on one side of the select button and is usually termed a "soft key."

3. Select "Forward" from your options menu.

4. Enter the cell phone number to which you want to forward the message.

5. Select "Send" to send the forwarded message.
