How to Import EML Files Into Microsoft Mail
Use the Outlook Import Wizard to create a copy of the directories on your hard drive in MS Outlook, move EML and MSG files over to MS Outlook while keeping the structure of the files intact, put stored MSG files back into MS Outlook and change your e-mail client to for Microsoft Outlook.

Create a backup folder. Run "Windows Explorer" and choose the drive you want to use. Computers with one drive will only have a C: drive. Right-click on an empty area in the drive. Click on "New" and "Folder." Choose a name for the folder and press "Enter."

Make a copy of the Outlook Express folders structure. Start up "Outlook Express." Expand the structure of the subfolders. Create the same folders and subfolders on the hard drive in a folder with the same name as the one you created in Outlook Express.

Create a copy of the emails on the hard drive. Open the "Outlook Express" window. Open the folder that contains email. Press "Ctrl+A" to select all of the messages. Left click on the selection, hold the button down and drag the selection to Windows Explorer. Put the cursor on the copy of the Outlook Express folder and release the button. This will copy the e mail messages from the email folder as EML to the directory you chose.

Import the backup directory and the saved EML messages into Outlook. Run Outlook Import Wizard. Choose the "Destination Outlook" folder or "PST file." Click on "Next." Choose the folder that the messages are in and press "Next." Choose the messages you want and press the "Start" button. Your messages will be imported.
