How Do I Find Relatives in Sweden?
The good news is that Sweden has several online white pages directories where you can search for contact information for your relatives. The bad news is that search interfaces aren't in English. Fortunately, the sites are relatively easy to use, and online translation tools are also available, if you need them.

Search the Eniro Swedish phone directory (see References). Enter the name you're searching for in the "Namn" field and click "Sok" to search. You can also enter a city name in the "Adress" field, if known.

Search the Hitta telephone directory (see References). Enter the name in the "Vad soker du" field. You can also enter a city in the "Var" field. Click "Hitta" to search, and the site will return people and businesses that match your search criteria.

Search for the name at 118100, the Swedish version of 411. Enter the name in the search field, and click "Sok" to search.

Use an online translation service such as Google Translate to render the Swedish websites in English if you prefer that as a search interface.
