1. Back up the files on the computer. Click "Start," then "All Programs" and "System Tools." Select the backup program and follow the instructions to back up the files on your computer.

2. Click "Start," then type "Recovery" in the search field and select "Recovery Manager" from the search results.

3. Click "Advanced Options," then "System Recovery" and click "Next." Wait for the computer to restart.

4. Select "System Recovery" from the options, then click "Next."

5. Select "Recover without backing up your files," then click "Next."

6. Click "Next" and wait for restoration to complete.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are unable to access Windows to open the Recovery Manager, restart the computer and press "F11" during start-up. Recovery Manager begins if the system is able to access the recovery partition. If not, insert the computer's recovery discs to perform a system restore.
