How to Receive DTV Channels Through a VCR
Digital TV channels sent through a VCR must be processed through a DTV converter box that changes the signal to analog so it can be recorded on the VCR or sent to a TV for viewing. Two coaxial cables are needed to hook up the DTV converter to the VCR and the VCR to a television. Once connected, the VCR works as a pass-through component to send DTV channels to the TV. DTV programming can also be recorded on videocassette.
