How to Transfer Thunderbird to a New PC

Mozilla Thunderbird is an open source email client designed by the creators of the Firefox web browser. The program does not include import and export functionality to easily transfer your account settings and email from one computer to another but it is a simple enough task if you know which folders to copy. Once you have the correct folders copied to a new PC, you can use the Profile Manager built-in to Thunderbird to associate the program with your existing account.
