How to Add Your Video to Orkut
Orkut is Google's social networking site. According to the BBC, "Based on Google information, Orkut has about 16 million users, of which nearly three-quarters are Brazilian." To add a video to your Orkut account, you will need a YouTube account.

Go to YouTube's homepage (see Resources). Click on "Create account" if you do not have a YouTube account, then click on "Sign me up" and enter your details. Then, click on "I accept."

Sign into your Google account if you already have one, otherwise enter your details in the "No, I need a new YouTube/Google account" section and click on "Create new account and finish." Your YouTube account is now ready to use.

Click on "Upload," then click on "Upload video" if you would like to upload a video from your computer. Select the file to upload and click on "Open." Your video will start uploading automatically. You can change the video information and privacy settings while you wait. Click on "Save changes" to save those settings.

Click on "Record video from webcam" to record your own video directly from YouTube. Then, select "Allow" and click on "Close." Click on "Ready to record" to start recording the video. Click on the stop symbol of the video player to stop recording.

Click on "My videos" once the video has been uploaded and processed, and click on the video you just uploaded. This will take you to the video's URL, where you can watch it.

Sign into your Orkut account and click on "Videos."

Enter your video's URL and click on "Post." You will then be able to see your video added to your Orkut account.

Click on "Options" at the right side of the video to edit its information or to delete it.

Tips & Warnings
You can also add your favorite YouTube videos to your Orkut account by copying the video's URL and posting it on Orkut.
Uploading offensive material could lead to your Google accounts being terminated.
