  1. Read heart rate using chest strap

      The ProForm Cs7e comes equipped with a chest strap to be worn during your workout. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for putting on and activating the chest strap. Generally, the chest strap fits across the chest with the transmitter portion located at the front center of the chest.

      Turn on the ProForm Cs7e treadmill and begin workout. Your heart rate is communicated to the treadmill through the chest strap transmitter.

      Read the heart rate that is displayed on the treadmill console. Heart rate is displayed in terms of beats per minute.

    Read heart rate using built-in handle bars

      Turn on the ProForm Cs7e treadmill and begin your workout.

      Place the palms of your hands over the sensor portion of the built-in handle bar when you want your heart rate displayed on the treadmill console. The heart rate is communicated to the treadmill through the handle bar sensors. Continue to hold the handle bar sensor contacts for 15 seconds for the most accurate heart rate reading.

      Read the heart rate that is displayed on the treadmill console. Heart rate is displayed in terms of beats per minute.
