Featuring news headlines on your website is a way to gain repeat visitors. People will begin coming to your site to keep up on current events and it will become an authority on news topics. Instructions

1. Go to a website that offers news headline widgets, such as Serbianna, One News Page or Reuters.

2. Subscribe to the news category you want to feature on your site. You can pick from such categories as business, finance, health or entertainment.

3. Customize your widget by selecting a color scheme and a size. The widget is the box that will reside on your site and deliver the updated news headlines.

4. Click "Get Widget Code." The website will give you an HTML code to put in your website template. Depending on the website platform you use, you may have to put the code in your template header, footer or another part of the template body.

5. Go to your website to verify the news headline widget is displaying correctly.
