How to Repost a Twitter Post

How to Repost a Twitter Post thumbnail
Reposting a Twitter post takes only a few seconds.

Twitter is a social networking website that allows users to post updates that are 140 characters long. People often use these short posts to tell others about their day, their whereabouts, their thoughts or feelings, a product they like or whatever else crosses their mind. In addition to posting their own posts, or tweets, users can repost what other Twitterers share. This action is appropriately referred to as "retweeting." In Twitter's older days, users had to do this manually by entering "RT" in their posts and copying pasting. Now the process can be completed in a few seconds by clicking a button.

Instructions

    • 1

Locate the Twitter post you want to repost.

    • 2

Drag your mouse over the tweet, but do not click anything yet. This action highlights the tweet and provides you with two options: reply to the post or retweet the post.

    • 3

Click the option that says "retweet" on the highlighted twitter post. The Twitter post will automatically be reposted on your own Twitter account. The original poster will receive notification of the retweet.
