How to Set Safari as the Web Browser

There are a variety of Web browser options.

Setting Safari as the default Web browser means that any time an application opens a website, this will be done in Safari. If you primarily use Safari, it may be very useful to set it as your default Web browser. Should you decide that you no longer want Safari as your default Web browser, this can easily be changed as well.

Instructions

1. Open Safari.

2. Select "Safari", then "Preferences."

3. In the "Default web browser:" category, click the drop down list and select "Safari."

4. Close out of the preferences window.
