How to Make a Blues Clues Pinata
If you are organizing a Blue's Clues-themed birthday party for a child, you may want to provide the guests with a Blue's Clues pinata. Although you could purchase a commercially produced pinata from a party supply store, you cut down on your party expenses by making a handmade Blue's Clues pinata from craft materials. Once the handmade Blue's Clues pinata is completed, it can be filled with small candies and party favors.

2
Pour 6 cups of flour and 4 cups of water into a pot.
-
-
3
Heat the mixture over medium heat until it bubbles, then reduce the heat and simmer the mixture on low for five minutes.
-
4
Allow the flour mixture to cool completely.
-
5
Tear newspaper into strips that measure approximately 2 inches wide by 6 inches long.
-
6
Crumple up sheets of newspaper into two long rolls.
-
7
Curl the end of each roll up to make a rounded end.
-
8
Tape the curled end of each roll to secure it onto itself. These will be Blue's ears.
-
9
Tape an ear onto either side of the balloon with the ball end hanging down.
-
10
Dip newspaper strips into the flour mixture and lay these papier-mache strips onto the entire balloon structure.
-
11
Cover the entire balloon structure with four to five layers of papier-mache strips.
-
12
Allow the balloon structure to air dry completely, which can take about three hours.
-
13
Paint the Blue's Clues pinata with light blue acrylic paint.
-
14
Add details onto the pinata with acrylic paint, such as eyes, a nose and a tongue.
-
15
Allow the paint to dry completely.

16
Cut a door out of the top of the pinata with scissors.
-
17
Fill the Blue's Clues pinata with small candies and party favors.

18
Hot glue a closed zip tie to the top of the pinata to allow you to hang it up.
