How to Erase the Cookies on a Mac
The first web browser, Netscape, included a technology called "cookies" that stores text information about the user ever time he visited a website. This information enables websites to discern details about the user when he returns to the website. Those who feel that cookies are intrusive can remove them from the Mac's hard drive where they reside. The procedure is straightforward and done through the web browser that was used to access the website where the cookie was created in the first place.
