How to Bypass the Websense Filtering
A security solution delivered by Websense, Inc, Websense filtering allows administrators managing a network to filter any web pages that could potentially harm a network's speed or efficiency, as well as pages that display or feature inappropriate content. However, when Websense filtering is set in a network, pages that pose no harm may also become filtered; therefore, a viable way to approach this situation is to use proxy sites to bypass any restrictions emanating from the Websense filtering settings.

Bypass Websense filtering on your network with Finally Pass (see Resources). Finally Pass is a free proxy that will help you bypass Websense filtering, giving you access to popular social networkingdestinations as well as financial sites, plus any other websites you like. Enter the URL of the site you want to view in the almost invisible text box located in the mid region of the page and hit the "Go" tab to be redirected.

Access pages being blocked by Websense filtering with the BypassThat free proxy service (see Resources). This PHP-based application will let you bypass Websense filtering settings for no charge while protecting your identity and keeping you anonymous. With BypassThat, you can browse to any site you desire because this proxy uses its server to display the content Websense filtering is restricting. To surf without restrictions, enter the address of any desired site in the text field at the bottom of the page and click the "Go" button.
