How to Convert TS to Xvid
You can watch decrypted DVDs with the popular Xvid codec by converting VIDEO_TS files to Xvid. The open-source Xvid codec enables compressing entire DVDs to the size of a CD. According to Xvid Movies, most DVD players support Xvid videos. Compressing video to Xvid is faster than compressing video to MPEG-2, even though Xvid files are smaller and more compressed. Encoding videos with the Xvid codec saves hard drive space, and the videos will play in any Xvid-enabled player.
