How to Upgrade to Limewire Pro

Limewire Pro is the upgraded version of the original free peer-to-peer file sharing client. Limewire Pro can be used to share music, pictures and videos with others. The upgraded version of Limewire offers faster downloads, anti-virus protection and optimized search results. The upgraded version of Limewire also offers a video player and a spam filter. According to the manufacturer of Limewire, upgrading to the Pro version can increase a user's access to files.

Instructions

1. Download and install Limewire Basic (see Resources). Follow the installation wizard's prompts to properly install the program. Limewire Basic should begin automatically once the installation is complete.

2. Click the "Buy It" button in the "Upgrade to PRO" window.

3. Enter your email address and billing information in the pop-up browser window, then click "Submit Securely."

4. Access your email account, then log in using your user name and password.

5. Open the email from Limewire, then click on the link to download Limewire Pro. Copy the license key from the email. You need the key to access all of the features of Limewire Pro.

6. Follow the installation wizard's prompts to upgrade Limewire Basic to Limewire Pro.
