How to Import Music Onto Virtual DJ

Virtual DJ is an advanced music mixing interface that simulates the effect of live turntables for audio playback and production. In order to use Virtual DJ's many effects and features, you must import music into the utility in one or both of its virtual turntables. Importing music into Virtual DJ entails mastery of the browser pane, which rests at the bottom of the utility's main window, beneath the virtual turntables and mixer.

Instructions

1. Launch Virtual DJ. Find the browser pane at the bottom of the utility.

2. Enter the name of the music file you wish to import to Virtual DJ into the "Search" field at the top of the pane's center column. Alternatively, you may use the browser tree in the left column to navigate your computer or connected drive's folders until you locate the file you wish to import to Virtual DJ.

3. Drag and drop the music file from the browser pane's center column directly onto the virtual turntable of your choosing. Doing so imports the music to Virtual DJ.
