How to Set Internet Explorer As the Default Web Browser

Internet Explorer is the default Web browser for Windows. Installing other Web browsers such as Firefox or Google Chrome can change this setting. Making Internet Explorer the default browser will not prevent you from using other Web browsers. Certain programs will use the default Web browser to open up tutorials or additional information pertinent to the program. This information applies to both Internet Explorer 7 and 8.
