How to View RAR Files on Mac
RAR files are compressed archives that typically offer a higher compression rate than ZIP files. These files are compressed using a proprietary algorithm, so the Mac OS X operating system cannot open and unpack these files natively. UnRarX, Zipeg and Rucksack are three applications that are capable of viewing RAR files on a Mac.
