How to Serve Web Pages on a LAN
You can serve Web pages on your computer without any additional equipment or purchasing any software. This is possible using a feature in Windows called Internet Information Services, or IIS. This feature is optional, so you do need to install it first. The IP address on the computer also needs to be set to stay the same. This makes it so computers on the network will be able to access the Web pages using the same address every time.
