How to Update a TomTom GPS
TomTom is a brand of portable Global Positioning System (GPS) vehicle navigation devices. Navigators usually come with pre-loaded maps and a database of points of interests such as hotels, stores, restaurants and gas stations. TomTom allows you to calculate the fastest route, displays the real-time position of your car on that map as well as provides turn-by-turn directions. Updating a TomTom GPS includes downloading the latest maps and the database corrections. Use freely available TomTom Home software to quickly update your navigator.
