How to Make Yo Yo Dog Patterns

How to Make Yo Yo Dog Patterns thumbnail
Recreate the features of your favorite dog breed for a yo-yo dog doll.

The yo-yo is a unique building block used for making bed coverlets, tablecloths, pillow covers and the yo-yo doll. The yo-yo craze hit its peak during the 1930s and 1940s, when makers of the original yo-yo clown doll expanded their repertoire to yo-yo girl and boy dolls and yo-yo animals. By making your own pattern for a yo-yo dog, you can feature the elements of your favorite breed, adding specific ears, tails and coloring.
