WeatherBug provides various free programs featuring weather forecasts.

WeatherBug is a free software that allows users to view the current weather as well as forecasts. There are various types of software applications available, including a desktop application, featuring real-time weather and seven-day forecasts. WeatherBug Alert, which has all the latest National Weather Service alerts and has one-click access to the local weather, is an icon next to the clock on the bottom task bar. WeatherBug also offers a Windows Vista sidebar gadget and Widget for Mac OS X systems as well.

Instructions

      Visit weather.weatherbug.com/desktop-weather.html.

      Select the desired program and click "Download."

    • 3

      Click "Save File" when the download box pops up.

    • 4

      Click on the WeatherBug file that was downloaded; installation will start automatically.

      Go to the control panel when you wish to uninstall the program.

    • 6

      Click on "Programs."

    • 7

      Select "Uninstall Programs" and select the WeatherBug program that needs to be uninstalled. Click "Uninstall," which will remove the program from the computer.
