How to Make a Dead Sea Facial Mask
Dead Sea mud, also known as black gold, is mud that comes from a body of water where there is an abundant amount of minerals and salts. Dead Sea mud can be bought at many wholesale bath and beauty stores. When combined with special oils, a Dead Sea facial mask can be made and applied at home. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Mixing bowl
- Glass jar with top
- 1/2 cup Dead Sea mud
- 4 drops lavender essential oil
- 3 drops chamomile essential oil
- 1 drop peppermint essential oil
- Spoon
- Cloth
- Water

Pour 1/2 cup Dead Sea mud into a mixing bowl.

Add 4 drops lavender essential oil, 3 drops chamomile essential oil and 1 drop peppermint essential oil to the mud.

Mix all of the ingredients together with a spoon.

Transfer the mud mask to a glass jar that has a lid. This is where the mud mask should be stored.

Wet your face with water.

Dig out 1 tablespoon of mud with your fingers.

Apply a thin layer of the mask to your entire face, avoiding the eyes and mouth.

Leave the mask on for 10 minutes.

Dampen a cloth with warm water, and then rub it over the face to completely remove the mud mask.
