How to Sync Plaxo With Thunderbird

Plaxo is a web-based contact management application and address book designed to integrate with social networks and various email programs in order to constantly keep contact data up to date. You can use this address book in conjunction with the Mozilla Thunderbird email client thanks to an extension that enables two-way address-book sync between Plaxo and Thunderbird with the click of a button. The Plaxo toolbar gives you access to the Plaxo address bar from the Thunderbird interface and makes it possible to synchronize data between the two applications.

This is an extremely limited solution. When you click the resources: download link there are these notes. So it appears that those of us with version 3.+ are out of luck. Works with Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5 and 2.0. NOTE: The Plaxo Toolbar for Thunderbird may not work well with address books over 3,000 contacts.
