How to Develop a PR Campaign With an iPhone
Developing a public relations campaign with an iPhone can be done through different forms of digital advertising and media. Social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter help to create a diverse campaign that can stretch out to thousands of users easily. Consider an angle for your public relations campaign and make sure you are reaching a solid target audience before diving into a campaign run solely from an iPhone.

Study and attract the right target audience. Immediacy is best in public relations, and luckily an iPhone lends itself to this. Sign-up for free applications including Twitter and Facebook. Create an account on each of these for the brand for which the campaign is running. If the brand already has accounts on these platforms, log in under these already established accounts.
Find individuals on Twitter who may be interested in your current promotional push by using the search feature. Search for keywords that target the PR campaign, and then begin to follow and talk to these users. Eventually ask them to join your Facebook page for the campaign, which will allow you to interact even further.
Be social and interactive. Remember, this isn't old-school media. Your audience is no longer captive and can easily dismiss you if they feel like they aren't being heard.

Pitch, pitch, pitch. Send out your campaign information to as many people as you can. This includes all those in your email address book who might be interested. Upload your email contacts and the address book to your iPhone by clicking on the mail icon on the bottom of the screen. This automatically uploads all the information from an email account, making it accessible to the iPhone.
E-mail is another great way to get things to go viral. People have the ability to forward e-mails, which will allow you to reach out to clientele who you may not have the contact information for.
Be sure your e-mail is brief, to the point and catchy. A great angle will surely get a few forwards.

Create videos and upload them to YouTube from your iPhone. Many iPhones, including the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 have video capabilities. Create quick snippets of you or a co-worker talking about the PR campaign and why the product or person that you are pitching is so valuable. If the campaign is centered around a person, then interview them for a quick 30-45 seconds and have them show off their personality. Send this video out to different prospects through your e-mail and upload it to YouTube.
Take the YouTube link and post it to Facebook and Twitter, which helps to better get the word out about your client, your PR campaign and your company.

Download a press release send-out application. There are many applications available on the iPhone for you to use in order to send out press releases. Go to the App Store and search "Public Relations." Choose among the many apps where you can upload a press release to and have it send out to thousands of different news sources.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid redundancy when using social media. Be sure that tweets and Facebook updates are fresh and new. Do not post the same thing a bunch of times in hopes that people continue to click. They eventually get bored and no longer follow you.
