You don't need a new PDA, just a screwdriver.

The Palm Tungsten C is a PDA that comes with various features such as a color LCD screen and Internet access. It also comes with a built-in battery. Many Tungsten C owners usually just upgrade to a new PDA when the battery dies or becomes damaged, but you don't actually need to do this. If you have a few extra minutes you can open up the PDA and replace the battery on your own. You may learn a bit about electronics in the process.
