How to Make a Pamphlet Using Microsoft PowerPoint

Creating pamphlets using Microsoft PowerPoint is easy.

Microsoft PowerPoint is a desktop presentation program that allows you to create slide shows that feature graphs, sound and animation. Newer versions are continually released, adding more trendy features and messaging capabilities. PowerPoint slides are commonly used to present information to a group of people. Creating pamphlets from the slides is a convenient way to get your information on paper. The pamphlets can be used at meetings, for political campaigns, grassroot rallies or in classrooms.

Things You'll Need

• Printer
• Printer paper

Instructions

1. Open up Microsoft PowerPoint on your computer. Either double-click on the desktop icon, or go in through the "Start" menu to find Microsoft PowerPoint.

2. Create your slides using PowerPoint tools. Include text, pictures, graphs and animation to add color and interest to your slides.

3. Click on the "View" located at the top of the screen. Then click on "Handout Master" located between "Slide Master" and "Notes Master."

4. Look for the icon that says "Slides Per Page" at the top of the screen. Click here to choose "9 Slides" per page.

5. Click on "Handout Orientation" to set the page on landscape mode. Click on "Slide Orientation" to put the slides on landscape mode as well.

6. Print out the page. Fold the paper into a brochure. The first three slides will be on the front of the brochure. The last six will be on the inside.

7. Make a double-sided pamphlet by running the printed page back through the printer so it prints on the other side. This is handy if you have more than nine slides.
