How to Make a Boot Disk Without a Floppy Drive
Creating a boot disk is typically done with a floppy disk and drive, but this proves difficult or impossible for modern computers lacking such devices. Resolve the situation by creating a bootable disc using a blank CD with a free downloadable DOS image, a procedure which takes just minutes to successfully accomplish.

Click the "Boot disc" link in Resources.

Click on the link for the version of DOS you wish to use for your boot disc. Click "Save" and save the file to your Desktop.

Open your CD burning program. Select the option to make an Image CD.

Drag the downloaded file to the CD burning queue and press "Burn" to create your boot disc.
