How to Send FOREX Boxes to the Philippines
The Filipino community around the world is referred to as "balikbayan," or those who are working or living overseas. It is part of their custom to regularly send a balikbayan box back to their familes. This is normally filled with food, clothes, small appliances and other items that that family members would enjoy.

Go to an Asian food market and select the shipping container you need from the Junior, Regular or Premium sizes; or, call FOREX toll free at 800-883-6739 and ask it to deliver a container to you.

Pack and label the box at home, following the FOREX instructions on the box. Prohibited items include firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs, perishables, combustibles/flammable items, chemicals, and very fragile items.

Call FOREX and arrange for a pickup date.

Pay the FOREX delivery person via check, credit card or cash.

Tips & Warnings
Rates for sending a box depend upon where the box is shipped from, the size of the box, and where it is shipped to. The average cost is under $100 in 2010. No additional payment is required in the Philippines.
There is no charge for the weight of a box. With careful packing, you can send many items home to the Philippines.
FOREX does not use third-party shippers to handle material.
