How to Remove a Streaky Fake Tan
Fake tans save your skin from the dangerous rays of the sun, but getting a streaky bad tan can be embarrassing. Fake tans come in lotions, sprays and stains and range from bronzing to deep color products. A poor application or a poorly performing product can leave your golden look orange and streaky. Things You'll Need
- Tan removal products
- Old cloth
- Lemons
- Cotton balls
- Exfoliation cleanser
- Loofah
- Razor
- Shaving cream

Tan Removal Products

Wipe away the color using a tan removal product. Squirt the tan removal lotion in your hand and spread the product over your body.

Shower and wipe your entire body with an old cloth to wipe away the fake tan.

Repeat the process to remove even more tanning product. Tan removal products are only effective when the tan is fresh. Your streaky fake tan should be no older than four hours.
Lemons

Slice lemons in half. Squeeze juice on cotton balls.

Rub the wet cotton balls over the streaky area.

Rinse the area to remove the tan you just lifted with the lemon.
Exfoliation

Sit in a tub of warm/hot water. Soak for 10 to 15 minutes.

Squirt exfoliating cleanser on your loofah. Use the loofah to scrub your body and remove the outer layer of "tanned" skin.

Shave your legs to to remove even more tan.

Rinse your skin with cool/warm water and pat your skin dry. Repeat the process to remove any excess tanning.
