How to Recover Deleted Browsing Files

      Return deleted files to your computer with the free EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Free Edition. This program allows you to see images of your deleted files. Open the drive from the selection wizard. Locate the files you want, click on them and click "Restore" to retrieve them.

      Restore erased browsing files with Recuva. Designed for computer novices, you can select the hard drive, pick the files and restore them with the "Restore" button in one menu. Recuva is free to use.

      Salvage files with eIMAGE Recovery for $37 as of August 2010. This program will salvage deleted and reformatted files, not just deleted files like free programs do. Open the program and select the hard drive. Search through the deleted and reformatted files for the ones you want. Click the data you need and press the "Restore" trash can logo.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never hastily delete files. Make sure you look through every file and make sure that you do not need it.

  • Turning the computer off while it is being accessed may cause some files to become corrupt.
