How Do I Use Cheesecloth for Woodworking?
Cheesecloth isn't just for using in the kitchen. Woodworkers use it in many of their projects. Cheesecloth is gentler than some brushes when applying stain or wiping down the wood and it is very absorbent. Cheesecloth is an open-weave fabric made of cotton fibers and is lint-free. This is important to any woodworking project because lint left behind from your cloth will ruin the finish. Cheesecloth usually comes in a package of two, totaling 18 square feet. Simply cut off sections of cheesecloth as needed.
